STATIC-X Frontman's Wife Quits Porn To Pursue 'More Normal Life'

August 14, 2008

AVN.com reports that Tera Wray, wife of STATIC-X singer Wayne Static and 2008 AVN Best New Starlet nominee, has ended her porn career. In a statement issued through her attorney, Wray said that after much soul-searching and deliberation, she decided to quit porn and pursue "a more normal life."

"I have had a great time working with Pleasure Productions and especially Matt Zane," she said. "Without my fans, I would have never had the career that I have had. They have always been behind me and I will always remember meeting them at AVN."

21-year-old Wray was a Hooters girl before getting into porn. She appeared in 22 movies, including Matt Zane's series "Tattooed and Tight", "Punkd Ur Ass" and "Radium".

Wray married Static in January during the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas.
